Prof. Ambrogio Fasoli

Professor Ambrogio Fasoli is the CEO of the European Consortium for Fusion Energy, EUROfusion. Additionally, he serves as a faculty member at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he holds the positions of Delegate to the Provost of EPFL and Director of the Swiss Plasma Center (SPC).

Fasoli's academic journey began at the University of Milan, leading to a Ph.D. at EPFL. His professional experience includes working on the European JET tokamak in the United Kingdom and a professorship at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States before joining EPFL. Furthermore, held the position of Editor-in-Chief of the International Atomic Energy Agency's journal Nuclear Fusion from 2014 to 2020.
